I am working on a project that is to use a vk204-25v (serial VFD) and attach to a usb serial adapter. My question is can i presume that LCDC will be able to connect to the com port the device (adapter) attaches itself too or must i connect to the device over com ports 1 or 2 only? I can force the de...

Would adding a DPDT toggle switch to control power for a vk204-25v harm the device in any way? Having software like LCDC control this option will not always be feasible.

please forgive me if this has been asked before....My search of the forum could not answer my question. Does MO plan to ever develop a graphic VFD solution? If so i would be very interested as graphic lcds really just don't cut it for me personally....there is something about the warmth of the light...
