MX4 is LCD, and MX5 is VFD.
VFD is much more brighter and much easier to see at an angle.

MX3

The only diff between MX3 and the MX2 is that the MX3 is VFD and the MX2 is LCD, correct?? Everything else is ecactly the same?

You program the keys to do almost anything you want to do with the display. You can get the keys to do almost any of the commands on the MX5. Control buttons on MX5

It doesnt really explain much on the website. And i'm trying to decide between the MX 5 with or with the buttons on the cover plate. What exactly are the key functions for other than turning on and off lights, fans etc.....
