However the MX series does not support this. If you try this with an MX display your devices may behave strangely or even not work at all. Most of the suggestions also apply to people asking about how long their 1-wire cables can be. Thank you for your answer. Of course I tried before mentioned com...

By all means you should give it a try...I didn't mean to persuade you from trying, all that I was stating is that we have not tested the digital temperature sensors with the MX Series at such distances! :) If you do try it out, I'd be very curious to know your results!! By quality, I meant the qual...

MX2 and the second line

The second line is sometimes messy or does not show anything. Usually closing and restarting LCDC solves the problem.

In theory you can probably connect hundreds in series but of course you would have to take into account the length of transmission. The reason we said 32 is that we feel comfortable with this number and anything beyond that, your in unchartered territory. As for length, we tested 6 probes at 1 mete...

IR detection?

I have an infrared motion detector. It uses 12 V and it can be connected ie. to Game port (output 5v) so you can be alerted if someone is sneaking behind you. :P Back to the point. Would it be possible to connect this IR equipment with MX2? You could for instance use a relay to set up light or somet...

You can connect up to 32 temp probes to the MX in TOTAL. We have included one 1-wire port on the display and all the headers are just on that one data line, so like I said, you can connect 32 in all to the display. {edit} beat to it.. Of course 32 temp probes is enough for almost everybody, e...
