If you have soldering capability and feel confortable doing it, all you need to do is unsolder the the blob of solder where the U is in picture #2... nothing else. If you don't feel confortable soldering you could leave it as is. Unsoldering the jumper in #2 is the proper way of doing it.

I have the LK204-24-usb and it has a small component soldered to the border under the U instead of a blob of solder. What do I need to do to power my display with a floppy power cable?
