splicing

Yeah, it looks like that might be what I'll have to do. I was kind of hoping to avoid the monotony of splicing all those tiny wires though (4 connections at 3 wires a piece). If that's what I have to due I'll do it.

Help with DIY TEMP PROBES (wol cables)

Hey everyone,

I made temp probes with a wol cables and the dallas semi-conductor temp probes. They work great. However, the only wol cables I can find are just to short to make it to any of the components I want to monitor (cpu, gpu, hdds, etc.) Does anyone know where I can find longer wol cables ...

Agreed. If I had it to do over again I'd probably snag a praetorian, which is basically the 210 without the door and the front fan array. However, I'm sort of invested in this now, I like the clean fron bezel and door, and I really look at it as a learning experience - I've never cut a blowhole ...

Though so . . .

I thought as much when examining full listings. However, when examining the broad listing of all mx models the features are cut up in such a way as to make it appear that each model has specific attributes.(Henry if you are reading you might want to look into this). Maybe I was the only one that was ...

Can I monitor the cpu core temp with the mx2? Help

I plan to use the mx211 as a fan controller and temp monitor. Can I monitor the cpu core with the matrix orbital temp probes. They look kind of fat for such an installation i.e. unlike those flat probes we're used to seeing. How would I go about installing the probes for this specific application ...

What's the best LCD for me?

Currently building my first pc. I would like to use something in the mx series as a tempture monitor and possibly a fan controller - or in conjunction with an independent fan controller. I would also take advantage of it's cosmetic appeal and use it to display text, cd tracks, etc.
What's the best ...
