Well, I tried your suggestions but with no luck. I unistalled the LCD driver, removed the registry enteries, and tried another USB port. I even tried connecting to the LCD using the normal USB port instead of the alt. one, nothing... Any other ideas?
I really don't think it's the USB ...

What is the best way to mount the temp probes? I would like to mount them so their removeable and not perminately glued or fastened. If you have soldering capability and feel confortable doing it, all you need to do is unsolder the the blob of solder where the U is in picture #2... nothing else. If you don't feel confortable soldering you could leave it as is. Unsoldering the jumper in #2 is the proper way of doing it.

Before I make the changes to my LK204-24-USB to power by a floppy cable I want to make sure I solder jumper 1 and remove the jumper 2 correctly. On the picture I drew a red line to show were to create a jumper and at jumper 2 am I suppost to remove the bridge where I drew the line?
