Splitting the MX222 boards?
Hi,
This is probably a bit of a silly question, but is the front board of an MX222 effectively just a parallel display? Can i desolder then two boards and connect them together with a 1 or 1.5m long, 16core wire, to make a thinner external display and keep all the GPO controls inside my case ...

Hi!
Im trying to make a stand for my MX222 with a single (multicore) wire trailing to the back of the PC. I was wondering if i could cut down on the number needed by attaching all the 0V wires together inside the pc
That is:
1 x USB, 2 x Molex, 3x GPO etc....
any ideas if this would work, i feel ...
