clean installation worked

everything seems to be working, took a completely clean installation of XP pro and the 212 was the first piece of hardware I installed. Copied the latest drivers to a floppy and went from there. just a pain to install windows all over again. now I just have to figure out how to program the damn ...

During the first installation try I used the CD drivers...I did an uninstall each time and then re-installed with the V10 and the V11 drivers...can the old drivers still exist on the system? just curious, will know more in a few hours.

tried it...........

but it didnt work and I still got the same results. I'm going to attempt to re-install windows tonight and see if that get's me anywhere. I have two other machines at home with no other ancilliary hardware attached and I'll see if I can get it running there as well. Any other input you can provide ...

Looks like I'm having the same problem as alot of people with my New MX212. After several attempts with various versions I'm about ready to give up. I just cant get that exclamation mark to go away on the usb serial driver installation. Does anyone have any clues? My next step would be to wipe ...

MX212

Just recieved my spiffy new MX212 in the mail yesterday, problem is it wont work with either the drivers on the CD, V10 or V11. I'm having the exact same problems as the gentleman above. any clues on what's causing this?
