Hi Miles,

you asked for revision etc. of my GLK12232-25SM. I found the following written on the PCB:

R1.2
(c) 2003
03m05-1490 (or possibly -1498)

I hope this information is what you need. Is there any special trick I can use to change speed on this revision?

Best regards,

Can't change serial speed on GLK12232-25SM

I can't change the RS232 speed on my GLK12232-25SM. I've tried two methods:

(a) using MOGD.EXE under Windows (changing speeds and sending text)

(b) sending raw bytes (254/57/X) and setting speed using stty under Linux.

The result is the same: whatever speed I try to set, the display still seems ...

How do I change the 12232-25SM splash screen?

How do I change the 12232-25SM splash screen? It should be possible according to your specifications.

I can't find any info on this in the manual, and MOGD doesn't seem to support this either.

Best regards,

OK, 4BR cable needs rewiring to work with 12232-25-SM

Hi again,

in response to my own message:

I just tried re-wiring the 4BR cable provided with my 12232-25-SM display. As I wrote in my previous message, it seemed strange to connect TX to TX and RX to RX, so I switched the wires.

It works now! My problem with the display is solved. :D

But ...

Can't get 12232-SM to work

I received my 12232-SM a couple of days ago. It's powered using a standard floppy power cable. However, I can't get it to work. It just displays the "Graphics in any direction" logo. No response whatsoever to the commands I send to it.

I use the 4BR serial cable (ordered along with the display) to ...
