USB LK202-24 cpu usage sky rockets?

We are trying to connect multiple LK202-24 USB lcds to a Windows XP computer. It is a dual cpu box with 832mb. When we connected them, and opened the ports using VC++, the cpu use in task manager went nuts. We wanted to have 40+ lcds connected and open. We would update the text every 4 seconds. When...

May 2003 v11 driver?

Are these for a specific USB lcd? Or any of them?

Specifically, can I replace the v10 driver I have for my lk202-24 usb?

Thanks!

Before I got your response, I tried editting the device type for the LK202-24 to 0x36. This allowed me to connect to the device and the various functions from LCDTester are working now.

BTW - Does the tool support virtual com ports, ie port numbers greater than 9?

Thanks!

LCD Test and LK202-24-USB

Just downloaded the LCDTester app. Very cool, now I don't have to write my own app to setup the power up text for LCDs.

Is there a new database that contains device types for LK202-24? I got an error that the type was invalid when I tried to connect to LCD.

Lk202-24 USB, XP, max current in device manager?

We are interfacing many LCDs using USB Hubs to an XP computer. We have issues with the hubs not being recognized properly when the XP box reboots. We believe it is a power draw problem with the Hubs and the number of LCDs connected. Ok, product specs for the LK202-24 USB LCDs indicate that the curre...
