Okay got it out of the box again after putting it away in disgust.

read through the instructions again and tried resetting the baud rate,
still didn't work. Read instructions again for the hundreth time, oh crap, I was jumpering the GPO pin 6-7 and not the keyboard. I new which one the keyboard was ...

Oh and how do I turn off the display as described in 1.7?
Do I just unplug it from the USB port??

Can't find the "display tuner" in the downloads section and I can't access it on my CD as all of the software on the CD is corrupt.

I had it working for about 2-3 hours (not winamp spectrum though) and
loved it but then I played around with the configuration and I just get
