We are using the LK204-7T-1U-TCI display and have had some recent issues with the displayed text changing to random garbled characters. This typically happens upon reboot. We have attempted to reset, or manually override, the display and it seems to work temporarily but the settings don't hold. Seems the reset is not being saved but we don't see how to save it. Then I read this in the manual "See the Set and Save Data Lock command for more info." But we don't see such a command.

Thank you for posting on the forum.
Please be reminded that Manual Override puts the display in temporary display settings.
You will need to make sure you save the settings you need eg: baud rate, contrast, backlight.
You can do this by sending the corresponding commands, eg: Change Baud Rate, Set and Save Contrast, Set and Save Brightness.
