Here are going to be pictures of internal Lian Li and Stealth Mod mountings of Displays...
The reason why this is here is because there are SO many requests...
Rules:
1. No asking how it was done in this thread, take it to general, or hardware or PM.
2. Please keep the pictures less then 500 pixels (width) in size.

It takes real guts to cut up a lian-li case but somehow i managed to.
Measure twice cut once!, i measured that many times i forgot.
To make the LCD fit you have to cut the floppy disk drive rack in two places
1. the lip that goes across the rack.
2. where the jumpers are on the back of the LCD.

Just added:

The 6 LED's for the GPO's as i thought that the front was lacking something.
The LED's had to be glued into the bezels as the space is limited, the sligtest movement or push on the front of the case and the LED's would have been pushed through.
This is an un replacable part of the case, so don't go wrong.
NOTE:
This only just fits in two Lian-Li 3.5" faceplates.
Materials Needed:
Nerves of steel
steady hands
2x Lian-Li Face Plates
A Dremal with cutting disks and grinding wheel
A 1mm Drill bit and pin vice
A set of needle files
A Hot melt glue gun or super-glue
6x Coloured 3mm LED's
6x 3mm LED bezels
various connections from a old case for the connections of the GPO's.

Other: I added - 2 blue leds for email notification.
1 red led for a heat alarm.
2 red leds inside the case that flash when Winamp is played.
Inverted Display.
Materials needed: Lian-Li Face Plate
Dremmel & cutting wheels
Nibbler
Drill and bit
Files
Paper and pencil
First I trimmed around the insert with the dremmel (the thickness of a faceplate).
Then I traced the window opening in the bay insert and copied it to the faceplate.
Then I drilled a hole in the center of the plate and nibbled the opening.
Finally, I nibbled off the faceplate "wings?" and filed the opening.
Now just slide it on!

Custom 12 key/5 LED control panel...running LCDC (is there anything else), first group of keys control winamp, middle group/top row reserved for gpo control, bottom row for other misc functions in LCDC (backlight on/off, momentary screen for weather, check mail, etc....)
for the leds, i have the center flashing for new mail, bottom strobing for a temp warning, and the other 3 designated for fan status.
here are a few pics. I have an article posted here http://www.blagged-hardware.net/content/articles/orbital-control.html detailing the construction of the control center, the lcd it's self is mounted on a piece of plexy glass that is the same thickness as the lian-li spacers, and attached by 3 of the screws holding the front bezzel plastic on.
edit: forgot to mention that i used the usb kit from the lian-li, that i wasent using anyway, so make the keypad and gpo connectors...
new pics..i just shortined, rounded, and nylon meshed my serial cable leading to the lcd...seen here with my audigy ribbon cable done the same way. here are a few pics from the upcoming article

Running LCDC, of course....
The display is mounted across two 5.25" bay covers in a similar way to AW3K's.
I put a plastic bezel and decals on the VFD - Hope you dont mind me using the MO logo, Henry! 
The decal idea I pinched from BitTech's Macroman. I used Inkjet OHP films, as it was going to be under the perspex. The text and backgrounds for logos etc. was left white in PowerPoint (Hey, It was the only thing I had to hand... :rolleyes:), so that it would be clear when printed out. This gives the text a brushed aluminum look when the decal is in place.

Everything in computers eventually get's smaller and smaller...so i decided to redo the Orbital Control Center to make it smaller...essentialy placing the lights and switches around the lcd its self, while incorporating a 4 port buss for fans and mods...
its running the registered version of LCDC of course...right now, i have the blue leds flashing, and the red leds strobeing when i get mail...looks like police lights....here is a small video to kind of see the effect (digital cam is only 15 fps and does not get all the red strobes)

Sorry about the quality of the images...I'm not the world's best photographer. The system's an Innovatek-cooled 2.8GHz P4 on a Gigabyte 8IHXP with 512MB of PC1066 RAM (for now; I'm waiting for an RMA for my defective 1GB of PC1066 from Kingston). The tubing on the watercooling's been upgraded to 3/8" from the stock 1/4" ID. And there are 7 UV CCFLs in the case.
The mods aren't complete yet, but I promised Henry I'd post a few pictures. Here ya go, Henry!
