I have the USB model.
Seems that i can not use the lcd with a parallax propeller or basic stamp?

reading this in the pdf:

USB: The GTT480272A-USB offers USB protocol only. Model specific hardware prevents this unit from operating in any other protocol, and does not allow other models to operate in the USB protocol. Protocol Select jumpers on the USB model cannot be moved.

I hope i can modify the module?

While the GTT480272A-USB is not intended for use in other protocols, both TTL and I2C signals feed directly from the extended power/communication connector into the display controller. Populating a header on the extended power/communication connector and changing the protocol resistors should allow you to use TTL or I2C protocols to communicate to your GTT.

However, please note any damage incurred as a result of making physical modifications to the GTT is not covered under warranty. Ordering the correct unit will ensure it is covered under warranty, if you must make changes to an existing unit, please be very, very careful.
