I'm using LK202-25 for a quite long time. With the actual version, the character table has changed... So our displays shows wrong characters now!

Is there a possibility to use new display with old firmware in order to keep the compatibility?

When PCB Rev3.0 was released for the LK202-25 in 2006, it was specified that a European font screen would be used in the Product Change Notice. Unfortunately, it is a hardware change rather than a simple firmware revision.

We do offer 8 custom characters on that unit, but I understand this may not provide a viable solution. If you require the old Japanese font units, you might contact sales@matrixorbital.ca to learn more about minimum order quantities and pricing for a custom display.

Effectively, the 8 custom characters will not help us a lot... We'll change our software.
