Cant get screen to work. Only displays ß symbols and squares

bought a new LCD screen
LK 202-25-USB-R
2 line x 20 character

i downloaded and installed the drivers from orbital and windows says they installed and the device is working correctly.
but when i run uProject or LCDC the device only displays a mix of 4 symbols
(=,ß,square, and some other strange thing)

how can i make it work correctly ? :(

Hi Customizer,

Incorrect characters are usually the result of a baud rate mismatch. Your display will communicate at 19200kbps by default (8bits data, No parity, 1 stop bit). If the baud rate has been changed, it can be temporarily reset it using the manual override procedure found in your manual.
