no fan control yet

Hi,
please note:
I am registered with LCDC but cannot post a topic..I tried my usual login but the account didnt exist ????? So I re registered again but still cant post. No reply from admin
Its been a week
So I decides to post here, at least confirm I have the hardware setup the right way
ok,
LK202-24-USB
selected the GPO HIGH power option with the little black square thing (bridge?)
on the 3 pin header, to the left side
plugged in the floppy power cable 12v, com,com, 5v (DMM says 12v)
plugged in fan to GPO header #1 (at the top)
DOW is plugged in and works perfectly temps are spot on (using the DS18"B"20 rather than the DS1820) address is displayed correctly
then went to:
GPO/RPM control menu in LCDC:
set GPO number to 1
set to report rpm ie:ticked the box
divider set to 1
Advanced Control set to = manual,set in screen builder
Start/Stop setting set to = 50
In screen builder :
Name = Fan1
Event = On D1W Temperature "Gt Or Eq"
Probe & Temp = 230.Dallas Temp Test temp = 30
