Hi Gerd,
The easiest way to configure a start screen is probably
boot edit. You can also check out the custom character and start screen commands in your manual for for more information or to send the raw data yourself.

My apologies Gerd, to change the start up screen on a graphic unit, upload a new bitmap to slot or ID number 1.
MOGD# is a great tool to do this, and explore many other aspects of our graphic displays.
