I have an older version of the LCD2041 (Rev1.22) that I bought for a project but never really got around to using. Now I'm getting into microcontrollers and I thought I'd try to interface with it. I see that (at least newer versions of the LCD2041) support I2C and I thought I might try getting that to work if supported on my version. However the jumpers are different on my version of the board than on the datasheet I can find for this display. Does anyone have any info on what the jumpers are? Or even better the datasheet for this rev? Thanks.

Older versions of the LCD2041 do support I2C, but connections and set up are a little different than new units. You can check out the manual for your display on our .ca here. I believe page 7 should show connections and page 10 jumper settings, be sure to use the 4 pin communication connector only.
