Dear Matrix Orbital:

How long will the actual LCD screen for an LK204 last? I see in the datasheet where the LED half life is for the backlight, but I do not see the expected half-life or lifetime of the actual display matrix. Can you all shed some light on this statistic?

Hi Chris,

The backlight half-life is listed because it is the first expected failure of the product. You might use the half-life as a conservative life expectancy estimate, but we do not have any formal mean time between failure data available.
