I have Windows 7 (yeah I know), and thanks to ya'lls help and fantastic support I got my Typhoon GX to work perfectly with LCD studio and I was having a grand 'ol time

Then tonight (during the case mod competition, of course) LCD studio kept hanging at a certain point and wouldn't load.

So I uninstalled everything, and started installing the latest software pack according to the instructions in the package.

Well, the firmware upgrade failed--here is the log:

Starting Upload
Setting up transfer
Sending Firmware
Sending Firmware 19704 bytes left
Sending Firmware 15608 bytes left
Sending Firmware 11512 bytes left
Sending Firmware 7416 bytes left
Sending Firmware 3320 bytes left
Reading back result
Product ID Mismatch, upload failed

After that, the screen went black, and the device shows up in the device manager as:

Matrix Orbital GX Series Firmware Upgrade Device

Where do I start to unscrew myself?

I appreciate all help, and thanks for reading this!

You have a gx that shipped with firmware rev 2.x from the factory, it doesn't accept upgrades meant for the 1.x model, nothing to worry about, the firmware you have is still the latest.

Just unplug the usb cable, plug it back in and it should be all good again.

Thanks for your time, Ray.
