So if you remove the Typhoon from its bay holder (4xscrews?), is the IR sensor connected in such a way that if you mount the display (LCD) in a surface you'll have to make provisions for the IR sensor too? ie: It's connected and flush with the actual screen so you'll have to mount the LED sensor as well on any surface you're putting the LCD screen onto? You can't hide the IR sensor on a flat surface?

The IR sensor is mounted on the actual pcb if you want to use the sensor you'd have to provision a hole for it.
