Since its still beta its not available to all customers yet but since we're fairly confident of the current quality we pretty much add anyone who asks.

OK...forgive me for being an idiot, but exactly how does one set the GX to turn off at shutdown? I don't see it...

If it is through the Configuration Utility, then we have a problem. Mine still does not recognize the GX.

If you upgraded your firmware the GX turns off on its own you don't need to turn it off your self, if you run the original firmware the lcd+backlight stay on even when your computer is off.

Hi,

I would like to be added to the beta group as well. I need to update my gx's firmware, but lcd defaults configuration doesn't see it. I am using vista ultimate 64 bit, I think I read somewhere this is a problem. Thanks for the help!

We are no longer running the beta, the software that was in the beta got released at the august'08 software pack on our website.
