showing up as "unknown device?"

I recently installed the GX typhoon, and it looks like it will be cool, but I can't get windows or the drivercore program to recognize it's plugged in. I believe that windows is calling it "unknown device" in my USB section, since it's the only unaccounted for device on my system.

If I install the driver core, it doesn't see any devices to configure, and in device manager, it still shows as unknown.

Any ideas on how to get windows to recognize the screen's existence?

The drivers should have installed themselves but aparently they need a little push on your system.

1) Right click the unkown device and click properties, check the Hardware Id's in the details tab, if it lists VID_1B3D and PID_000A it indeed is your GX.

2) After you verified the unknown device is indeed your GX right click the device and select update driver, When windows asks where to look point it to C:\program files\matrix orbital drivercore\drivers

If this doesn't work please list provide a little more details such as OS (Xp/Vista/2000) and if its 32 or 64 Bits and the complete Hardware ID taken from step1 would be helpfull too.

OK, now it shows up as a display (and the remote is working, yay!) which is a step in the right direction, but it's not showing up in the configuration utility.....

I haven't tried yet to see if it's in LCDstudio yet, I'll edit that in.....

EDIT: Nope, not there either yet....
