Matrix Orbital Corp

I know these units aren't transflective but which display (tri-color or backlit blue) is easier to use in a bright environment? this is going in a car (i have a transflective lcd screen for the important stuff) and i just wanted this to display secondary information.

The tri-colour GX is transflective, the inverse blue is not.
