Serial to USB

Post by Debugger »

Is there any way to convert the LK204-25-WB-VPT's serial I/O to USB :-? ?

1=+5V, 2=Data-, 3=Data+, 4=Ground

According to the diagram, the LCD uses only 4 pins from the serial connector, so I suppose it could be rather easy to connect the four cables to their respective Motherboard USB pins.

I've got two questions:

Could it be possible to do it?
If so, Data+ corresponds to Data FROM or TO the lcd?

Thanks in advance 8),

Hello...

If you want to use your serial display and connect it to a USB port on your computer this can be done via a USB/Serial converter...
