I have seen your article on icehardware.net and I was just wondering if you could take the time to show us what the graphic lcd would look like with inversed text? Id appreciate any help/pics shown - Manny
p.s. is it possible to have a black background with orange text?
thanks for any help

Hi mate,
There are two ways of inverting a graphical lcd...
-replacing the polarising film with one 90 degrees out of phase with the old one, as shown by the fabulous chrix here http://www.icehardware.net/guides/invert_lcd/
-using my inverted font (see the MO downloads page). With the old white led (which makes the display look blue) I got the following using my font...
so looks good. As a result of the easy font method I've never tried using polarising film to achieve a similar effect.
As for black/orange, easy. I did do it and I did take a picture... hold for a second please...
ok I deleted the pic... looked good though.
Just invert this in your head,
thought the orange looked better than it does in the pic...
Cheers,
r.
