Hi, i was wondering if any of the Matrix Orbital LCD panels work under Linux? ( without severe difficulty )
it would need to display CPU usage, network usage and disk space.
Thanks.
LCD Panels and Linux.
Hi MCrobot,
Our displays will work in a Linux environment, we were recently added to the kernel, but you may have to manually add the display based on your build. You can check out this appnote for a great Linux reference.
That said, please keep in mind you will need a program to send information to the unit. Whether it is your own script or one of the programs listed in our links section, any of our units can display a wealth of information.
Should you decide to add one or our displays to your Linux environment and have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to post.
Thanks,
~Troy
