update:

-Changed the way LCDstats deals with no MBM data. It now displays the data that should've been read from MBM as zero if MBM isn't loaded, instead of showing an error message and exiting which it did before.
-LCDstats didn't skip empty screens i 2 line mode, it is fixed now. (for example, if you only monitored 1 or 2 HDDs LCDstats would show an empty screen where HDD 3 and/or 4 should've been)
-Fixed some other bugs

I haven't done anything about the strange behavior of the winamp song title scrolling yet but i will.

update:
-Slowed down the winamp title scrolling, it was the best way to make it look better on grpahic LCDs.
-Added ability to choose temperature formats between Celsius and Fahrenheit from the systray menu.

You can choose graphic LCD from the main window now but so far the only thing LCDstats does differently is to remove the degree symbol which didn't work for graphic LCDs. Future updates will take more advantage of graphic LCDs.

welll... I didn't uninstall the old version prior to install (silly billy that I am) - then though that uninstalling the current version and reinstalling would clear up any old instalation problems (as I thought it might be the problem) - didn't help so i turned to here.

then I read the read me deleted the reg. entries manually and all was hunky dorie

Cheers,

r.

p.s. umm might have got the error number slightly wrong - literally only flashe dup for a fraction of a second, sure it said 28 though

While running LCDStats, I get a stack overflow error. It seems to me that perhaps the variables for NIC total upload or total download are overflowing.

I thought y'all might be interested in a little addition I made to the program a couple weeks ago. I added the ability to have a keypad button toggle the backlight.

Also, I noticed that you can perform more than one task with the same key. For instance, you can have my new backlight toggle key and a GPO set to the same keypress, and they will toggle at the same time when you press the key. I might add, just for fun, an option to set a particular GPO to be on with the backlight (perhaps someone has a backlit keypad, and it might make sense to turn on the pad's light with the LCD's light is on).
