Hello,
I bought a PK-202-24-USB about a year ago and have been using it steadily during that time. It works as my door sign, giving my office room number, current calendar entries and jabber (IM) presence info. I like it a lot.
After about 8,000 hours of use, I can definitely tell which pixels have been used the most, because they have dimmed a fair amount in comparison to the unused pixels which are still as bright as they were on the first day.
This doesn't surprise me, MO only advertised the product as having a 10k hour lifespan. However, I am curious if a later revision of the PK series will have a longer lifespan? Any other plans for the PK line?
Jim

Hi Jim,
There is actually a great deal of uncertanty in the PLED (PK) market. At this point it actually seems as though we will no longer be able to sell PLED products. I hope that this will not be indefenite however for the immediate future we have to consider the product line discontinued until we can secure a new source of PLED products.
If you have any questions please let me know.
