Hi mate... is there any way to easily change the character used in the graphical CPU usage bar in Smartie? I really like the idea but the # is quite unsightly

Cheers,

I have quite a few requests actually (which means I really like your program and have used it a lot - I'm not criticising) - I'll pretty sure by what you've said you've done some of these already...

-at the moment on a 20 char line you can't display time and date on the same line without it automatically scrolling - is it possible to make it so you can say 'don't scroll this line' as only being able to display one thing on a line without scrolling (not true for everything) seems to waste quite a lot of my lcd. By the way I like the way smartie scrolls, it's just more than one line on a screen doing it looks funny? Know what I mean??

-it would be nice to be able to specify which way round items you choose appear on a line - say time before date and vice versa. I like the way you build up lines in LCD Center, though your system is less confusing for beginners

-how about a little graphical memory display e.g. 'mem e ||| f'.

-Not sure how easy it is but Id love more winamp info, time remaining and the lark...

That's about it  Thanks for listening and I can't wait for the next version...

Cheers,

r.

p.s. congrats on solving the crashing problems in winXP - v.4 hasn't died on me yet

i got it, and in version 5 you can.

done that to, LCD Smartie looks a lot like LCD center now
-how about a little graphical memory display e.g. 'mem e ||| f'.
well, why not, i allready made one for cpu usage.
i am going to make one for:
memory
pagefile
harddisk C
harddisk D
harddisk E
harddisk F
harddisk G
harddisk H
-Not sure how easy it is but Id love more winamp info, time remaining and the lark...
done that.

you can show now:
title
channels (stereo/mono)
Kbps
KHz
total time in secs
current time in secs
total time in min/sec
current time in min/sec
position bar
How about being able to center justify a line too?
i made a way to set the starting position of text
$Fill(10) <-- lets make the next line begin at position 10

now also added the "don't scroll this line" checkbox

and a way to skip screens if, for example, winamp isn't active.

Hello, is your weather info taken from Weather.com? I've seen one program that was able to input your city, postal code or something like that and it would parse the weather forcasts from weather.com. Just wanted to know if that was possible! Great program btw!
