I would like to use the serial pins on the GLT240128 to communicate to a gumstix processor. However, I want to solder the pins instead of using the normal connectors. Could I order the USB option (it looks like the connectors for the serial pins are still there but without the connector) and do this?

Hi,

If you are looking to communicate with you display via the serial you will need to order a serial unit. We could look into a custom serial unit without the connections though.
