Just install my GX, when plug in display show 1011 on line 1, [1100] line 2 and 1001 on line 3 are are centered in what lookslike a black logo of sorts.
Device manager sees it but says drivers not found. What is going on. I did a lot of research before I bought this. I thought this was the best... Help please

Ummmm,

I,m not makeing fun of other peoples problems. I sold this to him on Ebay and I had this logo on it uploaded via firmware.

I posted this to help him, not make fun. I should have been more clear in the above post.

Ok so now I know the display is ok and the logo is custom.
Problem now is drivers will not install. Device manager sees the lcd and the IRD but says error 28 cannot find drivers. I tried to reinstall and point to driver folder for Matrix but says cannot find software for device. When I install driver core it says device not found. HELP PLEASE. I tried this with Windows media center 2005 and Vista 32 home and ultimate same issues.
The display is reconized when plugged into USB but will not load the drivers.

Given the fact the previous owner wsa in the beta group, he mostlikely upgraded the firmware. I'll add you to the beta group so you'll have access to the latest software + drivers as well.

Well Ray first let me say one Ray to another thank you for all the help. I can see you stay very busy and I commend your dedication. I am a Field Engineer for HP and I must say this has been a fight but I know in the end it will work out and I will be happy I bought your product. Even with all the bugs you are working out I do feel it is the best display out there.
Now for the next problem. I loaded the latest package from Aug 12. The drivers for the LCD worked. It will not load the drivers for the IRD and says software not found and when I run the LCD studio it get as far as selecting the lcd then just sits there with the hour glass spinning. Anything I am missing. Display is receiving data, time cpu graph etc.

Reloaded all software and all is working except IRD. Will not load the drivers for the IRD. Device manager sees it but will not accept the driver

As the product page mentions the IR interface is only supported on vista , you can use the GX Defaults tool to disable it on XP. Its not like we're cutting corners or dont' want to support XP but microsoft only opened up the specifications for vista so we really just cant :(

Thank you for all your help. One last question. Will this display work on Vista 64 Ultimate or do I need some files?

You'll have to run the drivercore installer again on vista 64 bit to get the 64 bit drivers other then that I don't expect any problems.
