Odd Backlight behaviour.

Post by MikeMK »

Hi there,

Got my GX typhoon today, and put together a couple of screens according to the quick start guide.

However, after making them into a play list, the screen scrolls through them ok after the default screens (clock & CPU usage), and the winamp screen works when winamp is playing, however the backlight doesnt come on for etiher of the screens I have made, but does for the default ones.

Am I missing something obvious in the settings somewhere?

Oh, and one other thing... is there anyway I can edit the default screens. Currently it seems to run clock--->CPU usage--->blank screen. I would like to get rid of the blank screen if poss... and know how to remove the others should I want to later?

If you don't want any of the default screens remove lcdinfo from your startup folder that'll do the trick.

I'll add you to the beta forum so you an access the latest software which includes backlight control.
