LCDInfo.exe 25% cpu on a 3Ghz Quad Core

Post by slavearm »

I am probably just going to kill it off, but LCDInfo is a major resource hog... is there something wrong with my install maybe?

Vista 64 Ultimate is what I am running on. It is much better since the patch... at least the display doesn't lockup anymore.

25% is rather insane its designed to not use more then 0-1% on even slower processors, could you see if there is an lcdinfo.exe.config in the matrix orbital drivercore folder?

No it doesn't exist. To be honest, it would use more CPU, but it is single threaded, so it just goes to 100% on whatever core it ends up running on.
