I am managing to overwrite my fonts when writing to the screen of a glk12232. I assume it happens because I am writing in a part of memory that is beyond screen memory and therefore overwriting the fonts. Could this be true?

It is really late right now so this will be short.

Check your speed. If you send more data than it can handle, it will begin to miss things. That leaves you open to things being mis-interpreted - like maybe it thinks it got a command to upload a new font.

Experiment with making delays between bytes until you know that things are working properly.
