Hi!
As I would like to have more than three GPOs on my GLK19264-7T-1U-FGW, I am wondering, if it is possible to replace the three tri color LEDs.
Instead of having three tri color LEDs I would prefer to have six single color LEDs. From my understandig, this should not be a big problem. I am thinking of desoldering the old old ones and replaced them with wired ones.
But what characteristics (current, voltage) should these LEDs have? Are there already some resistors on the PCB?

Hello,
Thank you for posting on the forum.
First off, please be reminded that soldering on your module voids your warranty.
If you want to have 6 single color LEDs instead of the bi color LEDs, you can do so, as you said. The replacement LEDs should be: Vf = 1.8V to 2.2V with If = 20mA (max). There are current limiting resistors already on the board. They are set to the current we want on the bi color LEDs. You might need to change them according to the brightness outcome, please limit these resistors to 120 Ohms min.
Again, this voids any warranty you still have on the module.
Thanks and Best Regards,
