PK202-24-USB/PLED Screen Blank But Detected In Windows

Post by wadeaj »

I did something to this module about 3 years ago, and now the screen is blank when I plug it in. Windows 7 detects it and I installed the 64-bit drivers. If I use uProject and "autodetect modules" it will not appear in the list; however, if I send the "Read Module Type" raw command it will return "0x42." I also can read the serial number and the version number (10). No matter how many times I send text to it, it will not show up on the screen. I am thinking that I might have corrupted the memory somehow. Any ideas?

Hi Wadeaj,

It sounds like communication to your display is good, but the screen itself is not responding. You may have inadvertently turned your display brightness down/off, or the screen may no longer be functional.

Check out your manual for the brightness command for this display, and I'll send the .mem file just in case you have trouble changing the setting.

Thanks,
