Just want to say Hi everyone here, my first post
I am doing a pc mod and want to know what the latest screens are for using with LCDC
The lcd theme is red font on black/dark background
I like the MX433 as it comes with red on black display (I will remove the black aluminium panel though)
What are other options if any ? I would consider graphic LCD if possible ?
How do I connect 3-5 mx433 screens to the pc, I want to use the mobo usbs headers ?
regards,
Adrian

GX Typhoon TCI, it's a negative display, so dark background and colour text. The TCI is a tri-colour meaning it can change text colour. The software on the GX is not as polished as LCDC, but we will be spending some time on it very soon. What are other options if any ? I would consider graphic LCD if possible
No problem, you can run 128 units at the same time. How do I connect 3-5 mx433 screens to the pc, I want to use the mobo usbs headers ?

Hi Henry,
thanks for the reply.
How bright red is the display ?
I tried an LCD but the background 'bleeds' and makes reading harder.
Where can I see an example of red text on dark/black ?
Are the fonts really clear like a usual lcd ? you know like pixels clarity
Sorry for all the questions but I'm keen to get something happening
Also, if I use a red filter on VFD, will the white be brighter than the LK202 -R ?
And if i attach another red filter(piece of red plastic or gel) to the VFD, will it actually be reddish too ?
Which VFD's are the brightest or most probably suitable to add a filter.
Do have any white VFD's ? Or can you get some please ? USB connection also ?
regards
Adrian

Hi Adrian,
While we do offer pictures of all of our displays on our purchasing site, matrixorbital.com, you can also check out our general or GX specific gallery sections to get an idea of how a display looks. The purchasing site will also let you know which displays are USB (GX and MX series are).
Backlight and contrast can be controlled on all of our intelligent LCDs, so attributes such as brightness and bleeding can be varied. With a graphics display, such as the GX, you'll also create your own fonts, so you're in control there too.
We offer VFDs in one colour at one brightness: Blue-Green at 350 cd/m2. We stock a small selection of common filters, but you're more than welcome to explore a custom solution on your own.
Finally, I brought together a GX, red LCD, and red filtered VFD for you below. Again, viewing will really depend on your environment and settings can be altered to suit your specific application.
