MX412 general questions

Post by diarh34 »

I own an MX412 and was wondering a couple of things.

To use the fan controller option you have to connect a floppy connector, can
I use one that comes directly off of my power supply?and also can I use any
usb cable with the screen,I have a longer one I wanted to use to make it
easier to route through my case.

Thanks

I have another question also,on the piece of paper that came in the box with the screen. It says to use a command in "command set" to stop the blinking cursor on the screen. How exactly to I get to command set?I've also been having a problem with lcdc sticking on one screen and never going to the next or just displaying the same screen over and over : / (this seems to only happen when I have winamp running). Also is there a way to program the keys on the keypad to do other things?

thanks,<3

You are looking for this - it is the manual which describes the command set, http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/LK_ ... SB_100.pdf
but you probably don't really want it. What you want is more knowledge about how to use LCDC. That, unfortunately, just takes a little time. Have a look at the LCDC site http://lcdc.planetdps.com/ and play with it for a few days. I think you will find that all your questions will find their own answers after you have played with it a bit - you will also gain the ability to do interesting new things like change key functions.

Good luck and have fun!
