Does this make sense? My KL202-24-USB only works with one USB cable I have.
The cable that does work is a short one from a 3com USB ethernet device for my 3com audrey. The 3 that don't work - one is the data cable for an external USB CD burner and 2 are just USB cables from APC.
You know the sound that Windows XP makes when a USB device is plugged in and then unplugged? It makes both sounds repeatedly when I use the non-working cables. Eventually it stops and gives me an error in device manager. If I use the 3com cable it just makes the "plugged in" noise once and the LCD appears fine in device manager and the display lights up and works fine.
All of the USB cables I've tried are good quality cables that are known to work with other devices. Any idea what is going on?
