I can't change the RS232 speed on my GLK12232-25SM. I've tried two methods:
(a) using MOGD.EXE under Windows (changing speeds and sending text)
(b) sending raw bytes (254/57/X) and setting speed using stty under Linux.
The result is the same: whatever speed I try to set, the display still seems to use 19200 bauds: anything I send on other speeds shows up as garbage (if at all). This applies to 9600 bauds as well, so it doesn't seem to be a matter of buffer overrun.
(I don't have anything connected to the keyboard connector, specifically not the manual override pins.)
What am I missing?
Best regards,

Can't change serial speed on GLK12232-25SM
Hello...
Can you tell me what revison your PCB is...(it will be written in the foil of the PCB...rev 1.1a or 1.2) and your serial number...? When we updated revisions there was a minor bug with changing the baud rate and it wasn't discovered until the units were functioning at capacity in the field...

The GLK12232-25SM has the ability to change baud rates to give the designer a wider change of options. The SM was designed more for the embedded system...This being said, choices of ccts, microproceesors or PLC's are all taken into perspective for optimal performance.I beleive the display is only meant to run at 19200 baud
Why would you want to set it differently anyway

Can you email me at myero@matrixorbital.com and we can discuss repair options...The reason I asked for revision number, etc. was because there was a bug in the firmware regarding changing the baud rate and a few units got through...
