AS LCDC is working, have you tried to set the boot screen from LCDC? Just create a screen as normal (untick it so it does not display) then use the "Save as power on" button at the bottom right of the screen builder...

For the AMD bit, just edit the screen (FOr some reason Henry did that as a static screen), at a guess I would say you have not told LCDC what to do with those fans, you can eitehr put them into advanced mode http://www.lcdc.cc/help/configuration.htm#amxxgpo and set the start/stop values that you wan...

You should have an event "Sys->On finish" with the Action "DSP->Backlight state" "Off", works for me :)

The screens don't have a power off function as such. Just turning off the backlight and clearing the screen is as good as you can get... If when you switch off you are still getting power to the USB, then I would think it's a bios option or something.

Event's do not do anything in live preview. Quit the screen builder, then "Start" the display from the main menu. Now hit Stop, the backlight should go off.

Is the event turned on (Tick/check in the box to the left of it) and what version of LCDC are you using as it works for me?

Hi Select50, sounds like everything is working fine in LCDC. Therefore you need to run the "Bootloader" application to set the default power on values for yor screen, which also includes the backlight intensity/Contrast settings which sound wrong.

I should of read your country location first :) Your English is very reasonable in that case. It *would* be possible to adjust the MBM plugin to feed this data back to MBM. Although you have still not said why, and also it will take a fair amount of work to do, as at present the MBM plugin for LCDC ...

"LCDC's temp reading and displaying "plugin" can be modified to do this?"

I don't understand what you mean. Are you asking me to rewrite the MBM plugin for LCDC just for you so that you can send the temp probe data to MBM? ANd why?

No you can't change the 0, all you can do is create a custom character to replace it and then use that instead. But then you need software that will process that and use the custom character instead of the 0. As for the leading 0, in LCDC you can change the date format in the config screen to remove...

Are you using the correct CC set? Should be using VFD_Bigfonts_2.
