Then there is no difference if I use notepad or XML editor because you can't move, resize, etc. I hope the LCDStudio plugin will be ready soon, but in the meantime I am attaching my set of xml files for those who are interested. I am not saying they are perfect (I have no documentation, just guessin...

I already tried an xml editor XMLCooktop 2.5, but I am not sure if an XML editor can give me the screen preview (like in LCDStudio). And another question: Will I be able to include some third party information into these XML files? For example, I would like to add the SpeedFan temperature and the CP...

How to edit XML files?
I manually edited some of the xml files in c:\Program Files\Matrix Orbital DriverCore\Resources\240x64x1\default\mce\ folder. I used a Windows notepad, and it's a real pain! Is there another editing tool available?

I manually edited some LCDInfo xml files. Needless to say that without proper tools and documentation this is a very painfull process. So what is the advantage of LCDInfo over an MCE plugin for LCDStudio? And why do we need two programs running at same time? To demonstrate that two programs can acce...

No backlight with LCDStudio
As I understand, LCDInfo a LCDStudio should be able to share the display without any problems. In my case, when LCDStudio takes over, the backlight disappears, but when LCDInfo takes over, the backlight reappears. I know the screen is there as I can see a faint reflected light picture in LCDStudio. ...

I am so glad to hear this! I was under impression that you guys love Vista MCE and hate XP MCE which would explain why you guys support IR and MCE in Vista only. I have spent a lot of time already trying to run your software on my XP MCE with absolutely no luck with LCDInfo. I tried to reinstall the...

As I said, I just disabled the IR drivers (the simplest thing is just to uninstall the eHome Infrared Receiver in the Device Manager and do not install the new one when prompted afterwards). Only install the GX display and it will be working with your original Microsoft receiver. So this problem is ...
