Re: Toggle GPO ports

Hey Ben, We were just talking about adding a new feature to the GTT that I think could help here, so it would be great to get some developer feedback. What about a toggle button? With scripting, I believe that feature would provide the GPO toggle ability you need. Let me know what you think. Cheers,...

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul, I apologise for the inconvenience of this issue. Could you please download the filesystem from the unit you have configured and send the .ebin file to me at tclark@matrixorbital.ca? If you can confirm that the only setting change missing from your configuration is turning the keypad backlig...

Hi grnbriar,

I appreciate you bringing that issue to our attention. It has been solved and a fix will be included in the next firmware release.

Thanks again,

Re: Any other displays compatible with GTT 7 and 5?

Hello grnbriar, You are correct, the GTT50A and GTT70A share the same 800 x 480 resolution. Unfortunately, a 4" GTT has never been offered. To make code reusable across the GTT line you might position elements relative to the width and height of the screen. All GTTs will return their width and ...

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul,

No worries, I'm glad the work around was successful.

A release date for the next firmware version has not been set at this time, but I expect you'll see an update in the firmware upgrader within the first quarter of the year.

Cheers,
Troy

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul, I appreciate all of your help in this matter, it looks like we have a bug in the keypad backlight code. A fix will be included in the next firmware release. First, please refrain from remembering the backlight off setting, until the next firmware revision is released. Next, please upload th...

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul,

I appreciate you turning everything off on the unit, I wanted to discount the possibility of light bleed causing the keypad backlight to appear on. We'll take the firmware versions you have supplied and continue testing here. I'll let you know what we find.

Thanks again,
Troy

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul, Not a problem, I appreciate the additional information you have provided. I understand you are able to change the brightness so the hardware is fine, and it looks like the Remember feature is working as well. If you have time to do one more test, I would suggest setting Remember on, turning...

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Thank you Paul, It appears both units are running the same code then. Let's check both parts of the command sequence on the -TCI unit. Using the -TCI, could you please confirm that you are able to at least set the backlight brightness? Next, could you please check that the Remember command is workin...

Hi Paul,

I can definitely look into that. Are you able to read the firmware revision of both models?

Thank you,

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul,

No worries, most display settings can be saved even though they don't have an explicit command using the Set Remember feature.

To save the keypad backlight setting, set Remember On, change the keypad backlight value, and then set Remember Off.

Cheers,
Troy

Re: EGLK19264A-7T-USB connection problem

Hi Benedict, The primary purpose of MOGD# is to allow you to confirm that your display is operational, if you can already do that with AIDA64, MOGD# is not required. It sounds like your AIDA64 program is working well, but if you would like to continue troubleshooting, I would recommend ensuring no o...

Re: LK204-25 Blank Screen

Hi Pmagee, If you haven't already, I would recommend that you try the manual override procedure listed in your manual to reset the unit to default settings. However, given that you can communicate to the unit but are unable to change the contrast setting, your display may be damaged. If you can loca...

Re: LK204-25-USB woes on Fedora Linux

Hi Andrew, My apologies, it's been a while since I've worked with a Linux terminal. The code below will clear the screen for a unit connected to ttyUSB1 at 19200 baud. You can also ask the unit for its module ID in this way, but unfortunately, the response appears on the LCD rather than the terminal...

Re: Script ID 256 and above wont run (Firmware 8.5)

Hi Jason, Unfortunately, the bug fix for script IDs greater than 255 was not included in firmware revision 8.5. We were hoping to release a couple bug fixes with some new features in a new firmware package, however, we understand that these issues need to be fixed in a timely manner. We will release...
