Hi Alan,
Have you changed the GTT's i2c address at all? Also, are pull-ups present on both the SCL and SDA line?
Cheers,
Daniel

Re: I2C Read with GTT43
Hi Alan, Once the return buffer is full, the GTT will not be able to continue operating until it's data is read. It will wait until there is more space in the return buffer before executing any more commands. This is to prevent data loss, and ensures that all events registered by the GTT are reporte...

Re: I2C Stops Working
Hi iotexpert,
Are you unable to read and write data to the display at all? When a clear screen command (254 88) is sent to the GTT, does it respond at all?
Cheers,
Daniel Divino

Re: I2C Read with GTT43
Hi Alan, I'm glad to hear you're able to properly read all of your commands via I2C now. At the moment, there is no way to know how many bytes are in the GTT's return buffer, nor is there a single command to clear the buffer. The buffer will only house complete responses, so you can run a parser loo...

Re: I2C Read with GTT43
Hi iotexpert, Thanks for the added details about your project. Designing your project in the GTT Designer won't prevent the use of any GTT Commands. The GTT Designer Suite simply converts your screens into scripts and images, and uploads those files to the GTT. Upon boot, the GTT will start executin...

Re: GTT Design: Arduino Thermometer
Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you know we've updated the demo and implemented user controlled temperature limits. The user will be able to set low temperature and high temperature limits and an audible alert will be triggered if the temperature exceeds either of those limits. Our stage 2 demonst...

GTT Design: Arduino Thermometer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4d3_fNZMFM Hello everyone! This project is meant to demonstrate how easy it is to interface a Matrix Orbital GTT Intelligent TFT HMI display with an Arduino Uno through I2C. A DS18S20 temperature sensor is used to obtain temperature information, which is then proces...

Re: Mogd# Upload Font Problems
Hi bubbletea, Could you provide a few more details about the failure? Do you know specifically when the upload fails, or what error pops up? Also, are you able to read data from the display? In MOGD# you'll find read revision and read customer data command controls in Configuration>Configure Display...

Re: Mogd# Upload Font Problems
Hi Bubbletea, Welcome to the Forums! I understand you were experiencing a few issues uploading fonts to your PCB Rev 1.1 GLK240128 this weekend. It sounds like you were able to find a workaround and you were able to upload the fonts you needed onto your display, but I wanted to know a couple things ...

Re: Load Screen via I2C
Hi Haz, Once you have deployed your project to your GTT via the GTT Designer Suite, you'll be able to use command 13.1 "Run Script File" to draw your screens on the GTT. When using the Run Script File command, make sure to include the script file's path name and the null terminator in your...

Re: Help needed to conect GLK-24064R-25-1U-USB to Win 10 PC
Hi Gavins, Before attempting to connect to LCDC or LCD Smartie again, let's try to get an image back on the display screen. Please try placing the display in manual override mode by placing a jumper on the middle two keypad pins, and rebooting the display. Once the display is placed in manual overri...

Re: Help needed to conect GLK-24064R-25-1U-USB to Win 10 PC
Hi Gavins,
Welcome to the forums!
Have you been able to connect your display to our software tool MOGD? MOGD should be able to autodetect if a Matrix Orbital display is connected to your PC. If MOGD can't find the display, there may be an issue with your drivers, or your hardware connection.
