20x4, the mounting kit isn't quite what I'm looking for as I already have a complete mx5 bay kit. I'll just pick up some nuts and weld em on myself. thanks though.

attatching a display

I see the main display is attatched to the bay covers via four screws into threaded standoffs. apart from hacking a unit to pieces where could I get some of these standoffs for mounting the body of the display elsewhere and what is the thread size.

Thanks

Here's an option Dtorner over at LCDC.cc proposed. Any thoughts?
*the limit switch is there to stop the forward stroke of the actuator after 2 inches rather than letting it run its full 4 inch stroke.

Reverse GPO polarity?

I have a 12v linear actuator and I plan on running it off of the High power GPO's on an MX5. Once the actuator reaches the end of its stroke I need to reverse the polarity in order to activate the return stroke. How can I go about doing this? I'm assuming I need some sort of relay. Keep in mind I pe...

Success! :o

Although I'm unsure if it was the new drivers or the fact that I disconnected and uninstalled the 6in1 card reader before installing. Sweet deal guys, thanks for the help!

I'll keep trying. I always pull out the info in the registry and even search the windows directory and pull out any related .inf files that might be left behind. The fact that it still failed after a format and fresh install makes me think its something more than what we're looking at. This is an nf...

yup, tried all that several times. I've even picked "list all drivers" and specifically picked the corrent .inf for it to load. It still gets that error.

ok...Fresh install of windows xp pro sp1 slipstream with the MO unplugged from the USB. Download the 1.1 drivers and unzip to folder on desktop. Plug in MO and xp detects new hardware and brings up installation screen. From there I follow these steps to the letter. (except I point to the new drivers...

Well, I just installed a new motherboard and now I seem to be having the same problem as above. Spent two days installing and uninstalling, even reinstalled XP but I still get the same old error trying to install the port portion. service name already in use or something like that. :( Looks like I'm...

well right now I have it powering a 12v lcd module. The module turns on when its plugged into the gpo 4,5 or 6. No matter what I do, I cannot get the video screen to turn off. I have the 12v wire on the pin closest to the center of the mx and the ground on the pin closest to the edge.

MXxx High GPO questions

I cant seem to get the 3 high power gpo's to turn off. When using lcdc the virtual display shows the gpo turning on and off, but physically they are all always on.

Am I missing something here?
