Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND hard to get to communicate

Hi KH,

The USB driver that you downloaded is correct.

It looks like 3 of your images did not display properly. Could you try posting your USB driver images again? I would like to know which errors you are getting when trying to install the USB drivers.

Cheers,
Daniel Divino

Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND hard to get to communicate

Hi KH, Please try connecting power and USB mass storage to the display. Then try connecting to the GTT Support Tool/GTTProject. Make sure to specify a baud rate of 115200, and enable flow control. You can find the USB Drivers on our website here: https://matrixorbital.ca/drivers/usb-drivers Cheers, ...

Re: EVE2-29A-BLM-TPN Configuration

Hi Arup, I've taken a look at your display code once again and I've noticed you are setting your GPIO to 0x80 setting bit 7 high. Could you try setting your GPIO to 0xFFFF. As described in the FT81X Programmer's guide: Bit 3-0: Writing or reading the pin of GPIO 3-0. 1 for high and 0 for low. Bit 8-...

Re: EVE2-29A-BLM-TPN Configuration

Hi Arup, You can take a look at our EVE2 appnotes for example code. All of our EVE2 appnotes contain information regarding how to setup the display. Although you are running on a different platform, the order that commands/data is sent will still apply. You can find our appnotes available for downlo...

Re: EVE2-29A-BLM-TPN Configuration

Hi Arup, Upon first glance, it looks like your initial setup is correct but can you tell me why you are writing 4 to REG_DLSWAP instead of the valid 2, or 1? Sending a 4 to REG_DLSWAP will not have the desired effect, and in the programmer's manual, it specifies that only 1 and 2 should be written t...

Re: EVE2-29A-BLM-TPN Configuration

Hi Arup, Welcome to the forums! I understand you are having difficulties communicating with your EVE-29A-BLM-TPN display. First, I suggest you take a look at our EVE application notes which are pre-made projects that demonstrate how to setup and configure communication with the display. You can find...

Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND hard to get to communicate

Hi KH, I apologize for the delay. Could you take a look at your port settings in Device Manager? Please ensure that your com port's baud rate (default 9600) matches the GTT Support Tool's baud rate (default 115200), and the GTT's baud rate. Also, make sure that Flow control is set to none. Once you ...

Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND hard to get to communicate

Hi Portwellsg, I believe you had contacted me last week regarding the same issue. In your message you sent a screenshot of your GTT Support tool settings, and it appeared that Flow Control was enabled on your GTT Support Tool. Please note that the GTT comes with Flow Control disabled by default. I s...

Re: GLK240128-25 stopped responding after firmware update 8.4 to 8.6

Hi Eddy, I appreciate your post on our forums. With the release of firmware revision 8.5, we transitioned to using 2 byte font ID's instead of 1 byte font ID's. By increasing the number of font ID bytes, we've also increased the number of ID's that can be assigned to fonts stored on the display. Use...

Re: Trace graph

Hi APPAV,

What ID have you given to your trace, and what values are you sending to the display when attempting to update your trace?

Cheers,

Re: No display found

Hi APPAV, No worries, I understand. Focus on what you need to get done :) I would still like to determine what is causing the issue so that we can properly support future customers, but I won't want to take you away from your work. As a final query (for now at least), could you tell me what OS your ...

Re: No display found

Hi APPAV, I've consulted one of our engineers regarding your issue, and it sounds like the issue might be caused with the drivers Windows supplies. Windows should automatically come with WinUSB drivers allowing the GTT's Mass Storage mode to be automatically detected, but in the past we found that c...

Re: No display found

Hi APPAV,

What happens when you connect your GTT to your PC via the Mass storage header while in regular operating mode (Mass Storage jumper removed)? The GTT should appear as a "GTT Bulk-IO Device" under Universal Serial Bus devices in Device Manager.

Cheers,
Daniel
