Well you're in luck! We're in maintenaince mode for the GX as we speak! The IR checkbox was a software bug, no matter how the GX was configured it would always tell you IR was off even if it was on! This one is fixed already and will be in the upcoming update! We've got updated win7 drivers that sh...

Runs Ok with lcdinfo.exe

Ok I started lcdinfo and the the screens are changing. There are only two though, the clock and CPUload. Between them is only a blank screen, Don't know if that makes a difference but that is what I get. Will try just running a clock with LCDstudio.

Runs Ok by itself

First off let me say thank you for the quick reply. I read your post just before I left for work. Before I left I preformed the fist part of your suggestion, stop LCD Studio, remove lcdinfo.exe from the start up and let the GX run on it's own. Seven hours later the "ready for application" ...

Still having lock up problems on New Machine

Hi Ray, yes it's me again, I will try to remain civil. Here is the problems I am having. New machine. Intel dual core, 6gigs RAM, Vista 64-bit. First off I have to run the config utility every time I start the computer to enable the IR. Shouldn't that stay enabled? Still the software runs for about ...

Ray, You must not really read or comprehend the post. Accusing me of trolling and ranting is just one more way for you to keep from giving a definitive answer to any of my questions or statements. I am not here to rant and rave or flame. I am a paying customer that has a legitimate complaint. It did...

I want my money back!!!

I'm getting sick of this...Ray never responds, and it's been 3 years since Henry posted an update to the GX Typhoon versions. This was posted July 2007 and has not been updated since. The link for the software was posted on May 2007 and it is still the same buggy software. Nothing has been updated. ...

Hi ContraptionMaker, I'm sure Ray will respond regarding most of this post shortly, I just wanted to help out with Windows7. Unfortuantely, no we don't have any formal documentation yet, but with the help of a fellow developer, we were able to post a short guide to a Windows7 install of the GX. ~Tr...

Hi Ray, First of all I am sorry I called the GX a piece of crap, it works great, the software sucks. I would like to respond to your post though. 1) You have two other posts on these forums post 1 . Post 2 which i answered we had no ETA on the addons. We have done minor updates to lcdstudio for the ...
