Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND USB mass torage driver

Hi, To check if the GTT70A is placed into mass storage mode, you should see the USB connector image on the display. If you see the GTT startup image instead, this means that you have not successfully placed the GTT70A into mass storage mode. Double check that your connections on pins 6 and 7 are mar...

Re: GTT70A-TRP-BLM-B0-H1-CS-V5-ND hard to get to communicate

Hello, Thank you for contacting Matrix Orbital. Your connections to the GTT70A data/power look correct. Try to do a continuity test to make sure the connections are made. Does the GTT70A power up with a GTT startup screen? Can I please get the PCB version of your GTT70A? Also, please make sure when ...

Re: Label update speed

Hello Ronny,

We have recently released an update for the firmware on the GTT's.
I am not sure though if it does have the changes for the label speed, but please give it a try.
Please check this page out.

Thank you,
Raquel

Re: EGLK19264A-7T Setting start up brightness keypad

Hi Paul,

If you are using mogd#, go to Upload to device and chose Upload (Xmodem). Uploading via Xmodem is faster than the (regular) Upload. Xmodem upload takes about a 1.5 minutes.

I hope this helps.

Re: Beep printing 7 char string

Hi David, Yes, mostly when strings are involved, null is the end marker hence no need for a length parameter. But there are commands that still need length parameter, eg. command 254 36 - Print Unicode String (as 0 can show up at any point in the string). Good to hear things are working. It sounds l...

Re: Beep printing 7 char string

Hi David, Thank you for posting in the forum. It is good to hear that things are working well for you and the GTT50A. I am sorry but I see that there is an error in the GTT50A manual. The command 254 37 Print UTF-8 string does not take Length (short) parameter. You may simply send the UTF-8 sting af...

Re: Mogd# crashed while uploading font

Hi Chris, :) you are welcome for the 'TIA' I will leave Troy with you on the problem (perhaps) regarding drivers. As per your request regarding string extents where you will provide your string and the font id and the display will respond with the width and the height - I can look into that. As per ...

Re: Mogd# crashed while uploading font

Hi TIA, Thank you for posting in the forum. I am not sure why your display will not upload anymore to the same slot. Have you tried uploading font to a different slot? I deliberately interrupted a font upload to see if I can replicate, but (un)fortunately I was able to upload to the same slot again....

Re: LK204-7T-1U-USB Panel Cutout

Hello, Thank you for posting on the forum. You are right, the B19264A-BK drawing may be used for the LK204-7T-1U displays as we made sure that the layout and dimensions of these two displays are the same. My colleague who works on these drawings is away and will be back on Monday - I will make sure ...

Re: Proper way of changing baud rate on USB GLK?

Edited Post: Please make sure that you have not inadvertently locked the display. If you please check out Data Security (hardware or firmware data lock) in the manual . Hi Tamas, I have tried 57600 baud on my GLK19264A here (should be the same as the EGLK) and it works fine for me. Please be reminde...

Re: GTT70A GTT50A calibration error

Thanks Dave. The serial numbers I was looking for are the '14M07-5601' and '14M07-5602'. You should have the latest firmware on your GTT's. I have tried both GTT70A and GTT50A with the same firmware as yours and I did not have troubles calibrating them. If you please re-try calibration, making sure ...
